Effective October 1, 2021, USPS implemented new service standards for first-class mail that may add a day or two of transit time. For long-distance deliveries, it could take up to twice as long for mail to be received.
As some billers in Bill Pay do not receive electronic payments, this slow-down in USPS delivery may require additional time for Bill Pay check payments to be delivered. Please keep this in mind when scheduling bill payments, especially bills that have a pay-by-date deadline in order to avoid late charges.
